Slovenia’s National Inventory Report for 2015-2016 estimated 16.6 million metric tons gross emissions (9.7 net, accounting for carbon sinks).

Important Initiatives related to Climate Change:

INDC: As an EU member nation, Slovenia’s commitment is contained within the larger European Union INDC, which commits its 28 members to a combined reduction of 40% below 1990 levels by 2030. The text of the European Union INDC can be viewed here.
