Subnational actors are a critical piece of the climate puzzle. Hundreds of cities are stepping up to measure and manage their greenhouse gas emissions with accounting and reporting tools like the GHG Protocol for Cities (GPC). This webinar, the second in the series in climate tracking and transparency, will touch on the core concepts of subnational inventory development and application and compare general urban carbon accounting approaches. Panelists will introduce resources for overcoming perceived limitations of subnational inventory data availability and technical capacity, and review frameworks for initiating local accounting programs.
Topics will include:
Subnational GHG inventory assessment boundaries
